1. They’re so GAY!
2. They’re so GAY!

4. They’re so GAY!
5. They’re so GAY!
And that’s enough of a reason for me.

I just played this game on PS3 and LOVE IT! So much so, I ordered Mass Effect 3 and decided instead of playing it I would replay ME2. (I want to happy with my decisions going into ME3)
Anyway, top five characters from Mass Effect 2.
1. Commander Shephard (Human) - Obviously.
And for the record, I play as a female and my Shep doesn’t look at all like the image below.

2. Liara T’Soni (Asari) - She’s a Doctor, a nerd, a badass and she’s blue… Need I say more? (Best romance of the game)

3. Garrus Vakarian (Turian) - Shephard’s best pal. He looks like he’d eat you alive, but he’s got a heart of gold.

4. Tali’Zorah (Quarian) - Cute!

5. Mordin Solus (Salarian) - It was that singing that did it for me.

Epic game.
My Girlfriend and I have been steadily making our way through my collection of Miyazaki films recently. Here is my Top Five Miyazaki characters from my collection (which is only small).

1. Calcifer (Fire Demon) - Howl’s Moving Castle

2. Totoro - My Neighbour Totoro

3. Haku - Spirited Away

4. Lisa - Ponyo (simply because she is voiced by Tina Fey)

5. Jiji - Kiki’s Delivery Service (I want a talking cat with an excellent sense of humour)

Since I had the wonderful privilage of seeing Florence + The Machine at Nottingham Arena this week, I thought it might be fitting to do a Top 5ive of my favourite tracks, so here they are. (click for videos) Enjoy!
2. Cosmic Love

1. Drive
2. We Need to Talk About Kevin
3. Tinker Taylor Solider Spy
4. Tyrannosaur
5. Albert Nobbs

I was dead against the Amazon Kindle this time last year. I was one of those ‘why can’t you just read a book’ people, until a friend of mine got one. After a quick browse of hers, I sort of liked the idea of having a portable device to store almost 1000 books on. Kindle is the iPod of the book world… Anyway I happened to recieve one for Valentine’s Day and having used it for just over a week, here are my Top 5 reasons to get one.
1. Space saving, 1000 books in your bag without the weight (its practically weightless). The Kindle is tiny, when compared with other portable devices (ahem, iPad). Not only it is small and light, it sits beautifully in the hand, with the page turning buttons perfectly placed.
2. Text size, with the ability to alter the text size, no more headaches for me.
3. Free Books, thousands of free books. Project Gutenberg, is one of many sites offering free ebooks. I like anything free, most of all books.
4. Comics, admittedly the Kindle is not the best portable device around for comic book reading, although it’s still manageable. Comics need to be in PDF or JPG format which is simple enough, however the Kindle will need some fine-tuning on screen while viewing these files types.
5. Amazon Whispernet, buy a book on Amazon’s Kindle store and wooooosh, it is automatically delivered to Kindle by magic (via Wifi).
All in all I am thrilled with my Kindle, thank you very much to my Valentine.

1. Skyrim, Currently playing, its massive, its amazing and I just married a woman who hunts vampires for a living. I have also fallen madly in love with my Housecarl, Lydia (Pictured above).
2. Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, probably the best game series in the last 10 years.

3. Batman Akrham City, play the game as Catwoman? Yes please.
4. Final Fantasy XIII, Its so pretty I want to lick my TV screen when I play it. It might also be the hardest game on the PS3.

5. LA Noire, I want more games like this please. It is LA Confidential in video game form.

This is an incredibly hard list to make, and so I have split it in to two parts. First, we have my Top Five Regina studio songs, tracks that appear on the six full records dating from 2001 - 2012.
Studio Tracks
1. Ghost of Corrporate Future (Soviet Kitsch)
2. Apres Moi (Begin to Hope)
3. The Flowers (Soviet Kitsch)
4. Hero (Bonus track, Begin to Hope)
5. Dusseldorf (Bonus track, Begin to Hope)
Second, we have my personal Top Five demo/unreleased (but floating around the internet) tracks from live shows or b-sides.
Demos/Unreleased songs
1. Dulce et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori
2. Loveology
3. A Canon
4. Belt
5. I Cut off My Hair
Most if not all of these demos can be found on YouTube.
1. ‘Ceramonials’ by Florence + The Machine,

Worth the wait and worry that it would not be as good as ‘Lungs’, I worried for nothing. It is a master piece. Favourite record of the year and very much in love with Florence Welch again.
2. ‘Codes and Keys’ by Death Cab for Cutie,

Another agonising wait for this record and what a result. I was blown away with a some what new sound from Death Cab, slightly electronic but just as beautiful if not more so than any other of their records. I was thrilled to see them Live this year and my love for Ben Gibbard keeps on growing.

3. Discovering ‘The Joy Formidable’ almost by accident while watching live coverage of the Reading festival. Their debt record ‘The Bid Roar’ is memorising and outstanding. Their music doesn’t just fill your ears, it paints vast images or darkness and light throughout. Looking forward to hearing more from them.

4. Amanda Palmer, live in London with a host of musical guests including her husband, Neil Gaiman, Bitter Ruin, The Jane Austin Argument and Tim Minchin.. EPIC night.
Amanda Palmer, I worship you!

5. ‘Angles’ by The Strokes, the wait for this record eclipses anything else I have mentioned above. I thought it was all over for one of the most influential bands of the last 10 years in not just indie/rock music, but ALL music. Thankfully, I was very much mistaken.
What a year!

1. Inception
2. Black Swan
3. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
4. The Social Network
5. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows
(It was a good year in movies)
